Why do we often take careful steps to ensure good physical health while ignoring or neglecting our mental health needs?
During this presentation, we will begin to cultivate a better understanding of how mental health is an essential part of overall health and why it pays to be proactive about our own wellbeing. We will look at and practice some strategies that can be used to improve mood, happiness, and life satisfaction. Your leader will also facilitate a discussion in which we will look at our biases towards mental health while exploring what it really means to build a mentally healthy and inclusive community.
